"LEDC is unapologetically about the real world of local economic development - addressing the issues that professionals in our sector face every day. It's a podcast dedicated to opening up the sort of discussions you get at the fringes of ED conferences and networking events."

David is CEO of Third Life Economics. He brings over 40 years of global practice as a Development Economist to LEDC, eight of them as CEO of large complex public bodies, and the last fourteen as an influential, creative advisor and enabler for transforming places and communities.

"LEDC is about using the podcast medium for stimulating open, honest debate about the issues and complexities facing those charged with delivering economic leadership and management of place; exposing the absurd illusions of simplistic winner-takes-all quick-fixes; and finding practical deliverable ways of making progress."
